  1. Global Warming: This means that the earth is getting hotter and the climate is changing.
  2. Carbon Dioxide: A heavy, colorless, odorless atmospheric gas.
  3. Atmosphere: Gases that surround the earth and keep out the harmful rays of the sun.
  4. Fossil Fuels: Coal, crude oil, and natural gases which are made from the remains of living things that died millions of years ago. And they give off energy when they are burned.
  5. Carbon Foot Print: It’s how much CO2 (carbon dioxide) you produce as you go through your day.
  6. Sustainable: Using natural resources without destroying the earth.
  7. Sustainable Development: Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
  8. Renewable Energy: An energy source that doesn’t run out and doesn’t pollute the atmosphere. Like wind and solar power.

  1. Take a shorter shower to conserve water! But that doesn’t mean you can skip it!
  2. Turn off the lights when you’re not in the room And use natural lights during the day! Remember that keeping the lights on uses energy!
  3. Recycle! Paper, Plastics and aluminum!
